I (we) recognize the element of risk in any adventure, sport or activity associated with the outdoors. I (we) am (are) fully aware of the risks and dangers inherent in off-road recreation such as participation  in Dunes and Trails ATV Club trips (i.e., risk of injury from a vehicle accident either with another vehicle or self- inflicted, accidents around the campsite, etc.).

Knowing the risks and dangers, I (we) understand the possible consequences of participating in the Dunes and Trails ATV Club activities and certify that I (we) have the necessary skills and ability to participate in said activities and assume full responsibility for myself (ourselves) for bodily injury, death and loss of personal property and expenses thereof as result of participating in said activities.

 I (we) also agree to abide by the rules and instructions given to me (us) either verbally or in writing by the Dunes and Trails ATV Club.  I (we) further understand that the Dunes and Trails ATV Club reserves the right to refuse participation by any person judged to be incapable of meeting the rigors, abilities and requirements of participating in said activities.

I (we) have read, understood and accepted the terms and conditions stated herein and acknowledge that this agreement shall be effective and binding upon me (us) until revoked in writing.  This Acknowledgment of Risk applies to myself, members of my family and my minor children, if any, who are present and will participate in any Dunes and Trails ATV Club activity.
